Kills slugs and snails after they eat the pellet. It causes the slug or snail to stop feeding immediately and they crawl away to hide and die. Safer's® Slug & Snail Pellets do not contain metaldehyde and are not poisonous to domestic animals, squirrels, rabbits or birds. Because the slugs and snails crawl away to die, there are no messy insects to dispose of. Safer's® Slug & Snail Pellets will not be affected by rainfall.
